EMC-PHASE 4 - DESKTOP VIDEO DREAMS
QUICK CONTENTS LISTING
Backgrounds
directory
---------------------------------------------------------
This is the largest directory on the CD and contains all the backgrounds.
The three main directories contain the images in JPEG 800x600 24bit, Pal
768x576 256 colour IFF and NTSC 768x480 256 IFF colour formats
Please note that the 256 colour versions of the image backgrounds all have
offset 248 colour palettes. This will enable you to use/adjust the first 8
colours (colours 0-7) to any colour you need within your presentation.
Nice touch eh!
PS The thumbnail indexes on this CD use Multiview as their default
viewer. If you have any trouble viewing the Backgrounds' Index
files...Please refer to the program "ToolAlias" in the Utilities
directory, as this allows you to change the default picture viewer.
Modules
directory
-------------------------------------------------------------
Directories Atmospheric, Dance, Fast, Fun, Funk&Jazz, Misc, Movie&Pop,
Rock, Slow and Slowbeat.
The sub directories in the Modules directory obviously contain music
modules. You will find a whole host of really good music modules in here,
ideal for use as backing tracks for your presentations.
We have tried our best to sort the modules into the 10 separate directories
but, in certain cases, some modules proved to be difficult to categorise.
We have also included the module player "PowerPlayer" in each directory to
simplify the playing of the modules from Workbench. Just double click on the
"PowerPlayer" icon to bring up the "load module" file requester.
Sounds
directory
--------------------------------------------------------------
Directories Alarms, Animals, Effects, Household, Human, Instruments,
Space, The Elements, Tools, Transport, TV&Movie, Weapons.
These directories include sorted IFF sound samples, which are ideal for use
as spot effects for either presentations or videos.
Again we have included the excellent sound player, SFX, in each directory
to simplify the playing of the sound samples from Workbench. Just double
click on the "SFX" icon to bring up the "load sound" file requester.
Useful
directory
--------------------------------------------------------------
The Stuff in the USEFUL directory
Directories Anims, Datatypes, Buttons, Screens and AmigaCDROM_Guide.
Anims This directory contains several counter animations. These
animations are really useful and can add a "Professional
Touch" when used at the beginning of either presentations or
videos.
DataTypes This directory contains a selection of popular Datatypes for
Workbench 3+ machines.
Buttons This directory contains loads of button screens containing
"Buttons" that can be cut and used in presentations. Simply
load the button screen into a paint package and cut the
desired buttons out as brushs and save them out. You can then
import the ready made buttons into your presentation program
ready for use.
Screens This directory contains setup and test screens. These can be
used as you see fit but are really designed to be used for
screen centralisation and colour calibration.
AmigaCD This directory contains a really useful Amigaguide file
written by Anders Bakkevold and has been included with his
kind permission. This Amigaguide file could probably be best
described as a complete guide to just about every Amiga
based CDRom disc, with a lot of others thrown in for good
measure. Take a look!
Fonts
directory
---------------------------------------------------------------
There's lots of fonts in here. All fonts are supplied in Bitmap, Type 1 and
Compugraphic formats. You should read the "ReadMe1st" file in the main
fonts directory for instructions on their usage and installation.
Utilities
directory
-----------------------------------------------------------
This directory contains more than twenty useful video related PD &
Shareware utilities and demo programs.
ImageVision
directory
---------------------------------------------------------
This directory contains a demo of the Imagevision presentation program,
along with a very impressive demo script, from Image Lab Technology. This
demo is over 38 megabytes in size and was custom created especially for the
Phase 4 CD.
The Imagevision demo script and demo program require an Amiga 1200/4000 with
at least 2mb of chip ram and 1mb of fast ram. To run the Imagevision demo
program, simply double click on the "Imagevision" icon.
To see the Imagevision demo script, simply click on the "RUN" icon located
in the top right of the main Imagevision window.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank both Blittersoft and Image
Lab Technology for creating and supplying the Imagevision demo.

This CD features the demo version of MME, which is a fully functional

The full version obviously has no limitations and comes complete with a

projects.
Simply double click on the "MME.DEMO" icon and the program will load and run
automatically.
You will also find a demonstration project to show what can be done with MME.
To view this demo you can either double click on the "MMEDemo.mme" icon in
the Optonica_AD directory or just load the MMEDemo.mme file from within MME
itself by clicking on "LoadProject" and selecting "MMEDemo.mme". To run the
